Telangana SSC exams 2020 cancelled, all class 10 students to be promoted
2020 Telangana SSC exams: The Telangana government has cancelled the SSC class 10 exam. Prime Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said on Monday that all students in class 10 would be promoted to the next class without any exams, as he would not be possible to take the exam due to the spread of COVID-19.
“One of the ministers of the education department said that students will receive internal marks from the given school assignments given by their respective schools in order to pass” said an official press release.
Yesterday, the government postponed the SSC exam, which was scheduled to take place from June 8. The SSC exams were scheduled to run until July 5th 2020. Only three SSC exam documents were held when the lockout was announced. Now only eight articles remain, including major topics such as
English, math, and science.
Meanwhile, the interim results are expected to be announced next week. “The assessment process started on May 12 and students can expect results by the second week of June,” Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy told indianexpress.com earlier . A total of 5.35 lakh students applied to write the SSC exams this year, while 9.65 lakh students signed up for the first and second year intermediate exams.
